LittleBigPlanet is a unique game combining an amazing platform adventure with a huge social community enabling players to, play, create and share their gaming with others. Imagine a world with no limits - a world that's yours to shape, build and explore. If you can see it, you can enhance it. If you can't see it, you can invent it.
The first thing that you will receive when you join LittleBigPlanet is your own "Sackboy" to use in the game. You can use this friendly little character to run and jump, pick up items and explore the world. You can also customise his physical appearance, facial expressions and actions to communicate with all of the other Sackboys that you meet. Choose costumes, accessories and colours to suit your own style, and as soon as you are happy with your Sackboy, it is time to start exploring.
As soon as you start looking around, you will realise there are many things for your Sackboy to do. There are places to explore, creative resources to collect and puzzles to solve – all requiring a combination of brains and collaborative teamwork.
As soon as you discover more of LittleBigPlanet, your skills will grow and you will be ready to start creating and modifying Sackboy's surroundings. Your Sackboy has the power to move anything in this glued and stitched-together 3D landscape; they have the power to design, shape and build both objects and entire locations for others to view and play. There is no complicated level editor; all of these skills can be learned by simply playing the game. Players can make their world as open or as secretive to explore as they like. When it is ready, they can invite anyone within the LittleBigPlanet community to come and explore their patch – or can go and explore everybody else's.
